Helping You Find The Answers Needed For Optimal Health and Wellness

What services are offered at the Wellness Center?

Advanced Women’s Center for Wellness (AWCW) offers bio-identical hormone replacement therapy with BioTE, micro-nutrient testing and lipo laser body contouring treatments. We also offer a variety of supplements.

Is the Lipo Laser right for me?

Anyone who has undesirable body fat can benefit from Lipo Laser, although laser Lipo body contouring isn’t meant for extensive weight loss. The best candidates include those wanting to lose 25 pounds or less, those who may be more concerned with targeting “problem areas” such as belly, thighs, hips, or upper arms, and those who are already making diet and lifestyle changes to effect weight loss.

Is BioTE a helpful option for me?

Hormone imbalance in women can occur as part of the aging process and may reflect genetic predispositions for certain conditions. However, hormone balance is affected by the food we eat, the exercise we get, and the amount of stress we experience. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of hormone imbalance, BioTE will help.

Some indicators of hormone imbalance are: heavy, irregular, or painful periods; osteoporosis; hot flashes and night sweats; vaginal dryness; breast tenderness; indigestion; constipation or diarrhea.

What can micronutrient testing tell me about my health?

Micro-nutrient testing offers the most accurate, scientifically proven method of assessing nutritional deficiencies. The lab results include an overview page with all deficiencies listed, numeric and graphic reports easily identifying deficiencies and repletion and supplementation recommendations.

Are any Wellness Center services covered by insurance?

Services offered through our Center for Wellness are often considered a form of alternative medicine. Even though the physicians are board certified as Medical Doctors, most insurances do not recognize bio-identical hormone replacement as “medically necessary.” Typically, it is considered by insurance like plastic surgery (esthetic medicine) and therefore is not covered by health insurance in most cases.

What is the atmosphere like at the Wellness Center? Is there a comfortable lobby? Is there a long wait time?

AWCW is located within our medical practice. Generally, our AWCW patients do not experience wait times since our physicians block their schedules for AWCW patients. Depending on what services are taking place, there should not be a long wait time.

How should I prepare for my Wellness Center visit?

Depending on what services you’re having done, the staff will inform you of any specific preparations. AWCW does expect payment for services at the time rendered.

What are the future plans for the wellness center? (Future location, future services)
